Tyler Wirken and I would like to announce the 2nd Art of the Moment Workshop being held September 14-17, 2009 at Tyler's brand spankin' new studio in Kansas City.

For years we have been wondering why there was not a small 2-day workshops that teach shooting and selling true Documentary images at weddings...when none appeared, we figured we should do it ourselves :)

The first day we will deal with the Mechanics of the moment, i.e. how to actually put yourself in the position to get those killer moments that happen at every wedding.

The second day will deal with the Business of the Moment, i.e. how to get the clients that want those moments, how to sell moments on your website and how to properly educate your clients.

On the third day, both Tyler and I will have to four separate 2 hour slots open for individual instruction on anything the student desires.

The cost of the workshop is $1300, but there is a Special price of $975 if you sign up before August 14th, and most meals will be provided. There will be a limit of students to keep the workshop intimate.

We are halfway through our only double wedding weekend so far, and I thought I would post a few shots from Chanel & Joey's wedding last night, which could not have gone better!

We recently photographed Ashley + Bryan's wedding in Granbury, Texas, and even though the ceremony was outside, it was not as hot as it could have been :) We had photographed Bryan's sister's wedding Abby a few years ago, and we were thrilled when they came back to us again to shoot this wedding :)

Now that their wedding is over, we can finally show you Krissy's bridal portraits...we shot them in a new (it was still being constructed and finished) apt complex in Downtown Dallas, then to a club/bar near there (who was a friend of hers) then outside...She had two different dresses, one for the ceremony and one for the reception, so we photographed her in both :)
